FinFlow · Legal
Terms & Conditions
Version 2026-10-14. Accepting these at sign-up or sign-in is how you give consent.
Effective 14 October 2026
1. What FinFlow is
FinFlow is a personal finance ledger at finflow.offshift.dev, operated by Mudit Jain. It records your transactions in ledgers you create, imports the bank, card and ledger statements you upload, and is provided free of charge, as is. By continuing you agree to these terms and to FinFlow processing your data as described here and in the Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older to use FinFlow. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — you are responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person; give accurate details when you sign up.
3. Data we collect
We store the details you give us (your name, email and, for password accounts, a username) and the financial records you add or import — ledgers, amounts, dates, remarks, parties and categories. FinFlow never asks for or stores full card numbers, CVVs or net-banking passwords.
4. Consent to store your data — password accounts
You expressly consent to FinFlow storing your account details (name, username and email) and the financial records you add or import, so it can maintain your ledgers over time.
4. Consent to store your data — Google accounts
You expressly consent to FinFlow storing your account details (your name and email, as shared by Google sign-in) and the financial records you add or import. Google sign-in shares only your name, email and profile picture — FinFlow does not request access to your Gmail or any other Google data.
5. Statement uploads
A statement PDF you upload is kept in private storage only while it is being read, and deleted right after. FinFlow reads it with its own parser — the statement is never sent to an AI service — and you review every row before anything is saved.
6. Purpose limitation
Your data is used only to provide FinFlow’s personal finance features. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone for their own purposes.
7. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase) in the AWS Asia-Pacific (Tokyo, Japan) region, and the app runs on Vercel’s servers in the same region — so your data is stored and processed outside India. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend. The Privacy Policy lists every provider.
8. Your rights
You can view, edit, export and delete your records at any time. From your profile you can download a copy of everything FinFlow holds about you, or delete your account — which permanently erases your ledgers, entries, parties and categories. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
9. Not financial advice
FinFlow is a record-keeping tool. Imported figures can be wrong if a statement is unusual — check them against your bank. FinFlow does not give financial, tax or investment advice and is not liable for decisions you make based on it.
10. Fair use
Do not misuse FinFlow — no attempts to access other people’s data, overload the service or upload anything that isn’t your own financial record. Accounts that do may be suspended.
11. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the version date above changes and you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
12. Grievance contact
For any question or grievance about FinFlow or how your data is handled, write to us through the form at finflow.offshift.dev/contact. We aim to respond within 7 days.
